Do you want to show that you are quickest in the new GT3 cars? And not only over one lap, but also in a battle?
To kick off the 2018 Competitions and Esport season, we want to run a fun warm-up event, LIVE STREAMED on Twitch. We will test slowdown penalties, flag rules, warm-up and three-race format in a competitive enviroment to find the best settings for our future championships. The top 30 drivers on the leaderboard will qualify for the event which will take place on Friday, January 5th. Drivers will recieve an e-Mail invitation prior to the event with instructions and server information.
Practice: 18:00 GMT (19:00 EU) - 30 minutes
Qualifying: 18:30 GMT (19:30 EU) - 15 minutes - open session
Warm-up 1: 18:45 GMT (19:45 EU) - 2 minutes
Race 1: 18:47 GMT (19:47 EU) - 20 minutes + finishing the lap - standing start
Warm-up 2: 19:10 GMT (20:10 EU) - 2 minutes
Race 2: 19:12 GMT (20:12 EU) - 20 minutes + finishing the lap - standing start - top 10 reversed
Warm-up 3: 19:35 GMT (20:35 EU) - 2 minutes
Race 3: 19:37 GMT (20:37 EU) - 20 minutes + finishing the lap - standing start - top 10 reversed
Two randomly drawn drivers on the leaderboard will recieve a redeem code for one car of their choice. Winners will be messaged via e-Mail up to 2 weeks after the end of the competition. In addition, the driver with the most points scored in the race event, and two further randomly drawn participants of the race event, will also recieve a redeem code for one car of their choice. Points will be scored by the following scheme: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1
