That page is a fan made page made of hearsay and does not represent a list of issues that would often if at all occur on a Simucube 2 wheel base.

Simucube 2 fix will be out when we get the next release ready for it.
-
I think an important Raceroom Racing Experience bug was found yesterday (wheel spin on game exit) and we released workaround for Simucube 1.
-
New release has now been officially published in our wiki.
-
The mount was designed to make the Simucube products compatible with those rigs that only have mounting holes for the most common bolt patterns. Nobody that we know of, was doing similar mount, so there is a small gap in the market to fill.
We also added/enlarged some holes to fit commonly used aluminium profiles. We also did some modeling and the small-looking holes for the tilt adjustment are still very much enough for even the worst case loads - there is no need to have them at M8 size or anything like that. The mount is very sturdy.
But front mount on the rig is always a better option, and this is not designed to compete with that market space.

There are no ongoing production issues with Simucube 2 since a few months already, so it should be readily available on all our resellers. No need for any waiting anymore.

Y a un moyen de virer le fait que le volant se mette en veille au bout de quelques minutes ? C'est un peu prise de tête en endurance ça
Cycle e-stop to get torque back. Also, you can enable automatic high torque mode without standby mode in the Enable High Torque Mode wizard, there is a counter at the bottom of the window.

Simucube 1 firmware with the IONI fw that has the Simucube application specific centering fix for incremental encoders is out now.
-
Yeah, the "shift modifier" functionality can be used, and also the interface has deservation for next version of the wireless module that will have more I/O pins for buttons and other functionalities. No ETA for that.
-
1. Other buttons are from Simucube Wireless Wheels. Also, Simucube 1 has buttons.
2. We do not disclose this, but it is not difficult to figure out.
3. It is a commonly available molex connector.
-
No.
We have made some continuous improvements in hardware due to manufacturing issues and changes in component availability. This time there had to be a firmware related change as well, and I put it into changelog. Downgrading those units to earlier than this version will result in the firmware downgrade failing and device staying in the firmware upgrade mode (bootloader).

Simucube 2 True Drive 2020.10 is released.
-
Hi,
F1 ESports teams have a binding agreement from F1 to use competitor products in their F1 2020 Esports series events. The team built their new rigs specifically to attend upcoming other simracing series.
-
Full changelog is available on our website.
-
There should be a text visible that says that the upgrade is supported only from 0.11.2 and later firmware versions. In that case, there are no buttons visible.
-
Static force reduction is kind of subjective filter. Some people like it, some not. There is no recommended/correct setting for it.
-
Actually Herve45 has been helpful, and we managed to fix a potential issue that made the wheel turn a random amount just after firmware update.
I tried to fix that bug and hopefully it is now fixed, but we added a note to have estop pressed and wheel rim usb cables disconnected at fw update anyway.
We are at version 1.0.22 now

We are moving office this week (actual move date is on Tuesday). Then there is the midsummer Friday off for everyone (national holiday in Finland). I will have to do 1:1 comparison with some debug data output, for the FFB strength issue / difference with these two firmware versions. We can't take the risk that the servo or the FET diodes on the IONI are overdriven somehow, that could cause wear on the electronics.

Just to make things straight: There was a bug in both Simucube 1 and 2 bumpstops. Its been fixed now, and the next task is to release the Simucube 1 firmware for testers.
Simucube 1 firmware release will have the Static Force Reduction filter, among other changes. See the firmware changelog page for the compiled list of fixes, its being kept up-to-date.
All developments will have to be next week, I'm not at home nor the office this weekend.
