NOTRE-DAME de la SERRA

28 km of "mythical" rally road by the sea in the magnificent region of Balagne in Corsica. 3 layout included.

Here is the famous stage "Notre Dame de la Serra" Also sometimes called "Pont du Fango" which has often been used for 40 years in the "Tour de Corse", the Balagne rally or the "Tour de Corse Historique".

There are 25 pits and you can race against the AIs in weekend/qualifying mode.

Please : don't add grassFX on this track!!!!!!!!

It includes three versions: (more will be added later)

- Tour de Corse 2019, Powerstage. (19.3km)

- Balagne Rally 2019. (27.7 km)

- Tour of Corsica 1985 (Reverse). (28.7km)

Start of runway construction: November 2020. End: October 2022

This legendary special has been used many times in several rallies since the 1970s: Tour de

Corse, Balagne rally, historic Tour de Corse.

There are still known defects but without solution for the moment:

Trees have flaws with shadows. I chose shaders that allow the shrubs not to glow when in shade and

not to glow unrealistically at night. But as a result, the shadows, depending on the hours are not always

well managed. It's a compromise

Telephone lines sometimes take very fanciful shapes! I will cover them entirely in a future update.

Of course, I added bumps all over the place, like in real life... But what bothers me is that with some cars

you don't really feel them: Toyota Celica, while with others it's almost too (BMW M3). You can surely

adjust the suspensions to have a good feeling…

The track is very long and very detailed. The textures are all real and different every 30m. The

vegetation is very varied and conforms to that of the Corsican maquis (homemade creations). Each

vegetation was placed one by one, oriented, scaled with the actual images as a model. Also the track is

very heavy but sometimes I happen to download a single 1gb auto mod… so…

Don't worry: even with my old 12-year-old I3 PC, the track was running well with some AI... With the new

one, I'm close to 337 FPS (before automatically limiting it to 75...)

There are 20 places in the "stands" (pits). If more is needed for an online race, it's easy to achieve. You

can race against AI’s. It works great on all versions.

You can also drive at night even if I did not find any historical trace of this fact… There are lights in the

hamlets, the maritime lighthouse and the distant towns.

Notice to modelers or related:

Please don't damage this track by putting CSP automatic weeds everywhere without even looking at an

image of the real road...
