DIY - [SimuCUBE] Firmware : progress and discussion
-
-
Yes, bumbstop effect and settings are available on the hardware -tab.
-
Pourquoi???
-
If you change the maximum current in Granity, you should re-run the motor configuration wizard as well. Changing of the maximum current via Granity should not be required for average users.
-
ok , merci pour le bumbstop , j' aurais du le voir !!
I should have see it !!

Hello
My setup:
Alim: 480 WATTS
Motor: Mige 130 ( 20Nm) encodeur 5000PPR
Simucube/ ioni pro
My pages (setup) on Granity:
My setup in Simucube configuration tool:
My setup charged asseto corsa (why 15,79Nm in estimated max torque in défault???) and actual max current 3, 52A ???
Can not save in my setup asseto corsa the value of 20Nm ... why?
What does it need to change as a value and where?
Before I did not have that and I could save my value of 20Nm in my profile asseto corsa ???
Thanks -
The Nm value is unreliable, you should not refer to it. I might remove that indicator in the future, as it seems that it is much more difficult than I expected, to have a generally accurate Nm estimator.
In SimuCUBE, the strength slider directly adjusts the motor MMC value, thus motor current.
-
I'm assuming you have 48 V power supply. For that, your Overvoltage Fault Threshold is a bit high, but it should still work. The recommendation is to set it around HV bus voltage + 1.5 V.
-
So i should put 49,5 V in Overvoltage Fault Threshold ??
Why the vale can value Overall strenght (in simucube) not be saved? in my setup -
The overall strength is saved in the profile. If you create many profiles, they can each be different strengths. Did you remember to press the save to flash button at the bottom?
and yes, 49.5 or 50.0V should be fine IF you have 48.0 V power supply.
-
yes I have saved the profile but it does not save the value when I reload
-
does the current value stay the same?
-
-
-
SimuCUBE loads the default profile on startup. Have you set up the profile as default?
-
The default profile in start up is ok
If i wnat a saved value of 20Nm in my profile asseto corsa, i have to save a value of 32NmOther exemple
If i wnat a saved value of 24,67Nm in my profile asseto corsa, i have to save a value of 34,89Nm
-
please disregard the Nm value completely, as it is unrelieable and most likely buggy.
Important thing is that the current value stays the same?

I do not own yet (during this year for sure) a DD wheel, but I often read this topic and I really appreciate what you are doing for french users mtakala. It's really awesome !

I've been monitoring this forum thread from time to time, but as more and more people are now destined to use our own firmware because MMOS does not support Sincos encoders, I decided to register.
Google translate is wonderful
