DIY - [SimuCUBE] Firmware : progress and discussion

MMC has to be larger than MCC with some margin. Same value does not work for both.
after modifications ...i have always this PB : SSSL
my new seeting :
This configuration was OK ...I don't understand why tody it s dead. -
The Over Voltage Fault Threshold is a bit low.
And please show the testing tab contents, it will show the fault reason.
-
-
-
STO active means that your E-stop is pressed.
-
no ... he is not activated , I check fault location ID 140407 .... i don't understand
-
A suitable Over Voltage Fault Threshold for 48.3 V Power Supply Voltage would be 49.75 V or 50.0 V.
-
and ID 140407 is "E-stop activated".

I suspect you have a disconnected wire somewhere.
-
I tested this, when I use my multimeters on simucube sto connector :
If STO pressed : INFINITY resistance.
if STO desable : current ok

can I enter 50 on Over Voltage Fault Threshold ?
after reboot I have a new message : 440205
"Power stage forced off due to one or more of following reasons: over voltage, over temperature, over current, STO or short circuit active"
simucube HS ?
-
Yes, enter 50.0 V to Over Voltage Fault Threshold.
-
Yes, enter 50.0 V to Over Voltage Fault Threshold.
I remember, after my last game I pressed STO and I shutdown my computer.... Maybe a simucube bug with this fonctionnality? is it possible?
(I change My sto fuse : again this PB ! )
If I check Voltage on simucube sto connector > 5Volt
-
IONI drive reads the signal. It is either a broken button or a loose wire.
-
button tested with Multimeters .... can I test with "simple wire" on sto simucube connector?
-
Yes, you can just put wire where the button is, to exclude that it is a button or wiring fault.
-
shunt STO button with simple WIRE : Fault location ID1 440205, again
it s not a STO but error is STO .... X-files problem !
Simucube / ioni bug
or I have a problem on my encodeur connector ...possible or no?
after reboot : 140407 , so If it s not IONI or SIMUCUBE...my alim. " STO has been activated, but can be be caused by a drop in logic supply voltage :
Provide stable logic supply to drive and to STO inputs"
what do you think?
-
What kind of power supply do you have? Does it work if you put, for example, 3 A as MCC and 4A as MMC?
-
Please also check, that the IONI is fully seated on its slot on SimuCUBE, and that the motor connector is fully seated.
